Senior Communications & Content Manager
Apply NowSixty million Medicare seniors live with chronic disease. The care system sees most of them twice a year. Cadence is building the infrastructure to support them every day.
Cadence is a clinical AI company that delivers continuous, proactive care for older adults with chronic conditions like hypertension, heart failure, and diabetes. We pair patients with a dedicated clinical team, integrate deeply into health system EMRs and workflows, and use our Clinical Intelligence platform to monitor vitals, surface risk early, optimize medications, and close care gaps between visits. The result: patients engage with care 100x more than before Cadence, clinicians focus on judgment instead of administrative work, and Medicare saves $2M a week.
We operate as a full clinical care delivery organization, not a software vendor. Our clinicians work alongside health system partners, extending the reach of local primary care providers into patients' homes. We're now applying AI agents across these workflows – from alert review and medication titration to lifestyle coaching and care coordination – with clinicians always in control of clinical decisions.
We’re hiring a Senior Communications & Content Manager to own how Cadence is understood, trusted, and talked about across the healthcare industry.
This role will serve as a strategic partner to the Head of Communications, taking primary ownership of Cadence’s market narrative across health systems, partners, media, employees, and the broader healthcare ecosystem. You’ll drive storytelling, positioning, thought leadership, executive communications, brand strategy, and content direction, translating complex clinical outcomes, AI capabilities, operational insights, and market dynamics into compelling narratives that build trust and market authority.
This is a high-ownership, market-shaping role at the intersection of healthcare, technology, and communications. You’ll lead cross-functional initiatives with Marketing, Design, Partnerships, Product, Clinical, and Leadership teams to elevate Cadence’s reputation and define the future of AI-powered chronic care.
What You'll Do
- Own Cadence's external narrative, positioning, and brand presence across the healthcare market, setting the strategic direction in partnership with the Head of Communications and driving execution across channels and audiences.
- Proactively identify and build relationships with health system partners, clinical leaders, and internal stakeholders to surface compelling stories, outcomes, and insights that reinforce Cadence's differentiation.
- Lead the translation of clinical outcomes, operational data, AI-enabled care model results, partner success, and industry trends into high-impact narratives, reports, thought leadership, and market-facing storytelling initiatives.
- Determine key milestones and own delivery of strategic communications materials including executive messaging, presentations, reports, partner stories, award submissions, speaking narratives, and long-form thought leadership content.
- Lead cross-functional workstreams with Marketing, Design, Product, Clinical, and Leadership teams in order to set direction, keep stakeholders aligned, and ensure campaigns and messaging consistently reinforce Cadence's positioning and voice.
- Define and drive Cadence's content strategy, anticipating how narrative needs will evolve as the business scales and proactively building the systems and infrastructure to meet them; leverage generative AI tools to drive communications output at scale while maintaining editorial quality and brand standards.
- Lead executive thought leadership and market visibility efforts, owning the strategy behind messaging development, speaking opportunities, media relationships, and communications planning.
What You Need
- 7-12 years of experience across communications, brand, corporate storytelling, strategic marketing, or related functions, ideally within healthcare, digital health, insurance, or other complex regulated industries.
- Strong track record securing earned media coverage and translating complex business, clinical, and technology topics including AI, data analytics, and healthcare innovation into compelling stories for executive, clinical, and market audiences.
- Demonstrated AI fluency: you can confidently communicate AI-powered care models, explain what makes them differentiated, and responsibly apply generative AI tools in your own content and communications workflows.
- Exceptional instincts for positioning, messaging, and thought leadership, with experience building market authority and differentiated narratives for growing organizations.
- Highly skilled at synthesizing data, customer insights, market dynamics, and executive perspectives into compelling stories and strategic communications.
- Experienced operating as a strategic partner to senior leaders, with the credibility and communication skills to influence decisions at the leadership level.
- Fluency with AI research and productivity tools and the ability to evaluate AI-driven insights critically, distinguishing signal from noise in a fast-moving information environment.
